Cupcakes For Mother's Day

Mothers day is right around the corner! What better way to show Mom how much you love her then with a basket of flowers. Even better, what about edible flowers? These basket of flowers cupcakes is super easy to make and are perfect for letting the little ones help with decorating!
These are made the same way as the Easter baskets we made for Easter. The flower petal are made with large sized candy confetti and the centers can be made with mini M&M's or any round candy. The candy licorice can be found at specialty stores, or you can use the red licorice found in the candy isle. I think the pastels are more festive. As with the Easter baskets, you can use pipe cleaners for the handles.
This set of cupcakes only require a heart shaped piece of candy and a steady hand to write with. Really, really easy, and Mom will love these just as much as a flower basket!

Easter Eggs!

Are you having an Easter Egg Hunt at your house? One idea might be to leave a trail of jelly beans leading the little ones to a few hidden eggs. these makes it much easier for the tiny tots to find their treasures. You might also try this idea for hiding Easter baskets. Or, you may want to leave a trail of colored eggs to a hiding Easter basket! Fun!

After the hunt, it's time to enjoy the treats hidden inside the eggs! You may want to save this for after lunch. The kids will be to eager to dig into their baskets and treats to wait until they eat. If it is easier, have your lunch first, then enjoy the Easter Egg hunt!

Easter Cupcake Party

Let the kids make their own Easter Cupcake. This eliminates a lot of prep time for you! Simply make you cupcakes, then let the kids go wild with their decorating! If you live in an area where the weather is nice, have this party outside on a picnic table covered with a disposable table cloth. When the decorating is finished, simply take the table cloth and wrap up the trash and throw away. Such an easy clean up!
If you plan to do a brunch on Easter Sunday, these carrot napkins are just too cute to pass up! All you need is green plastic ware, orange napkins and green pipe cleaners. (Thanks Family Fun, for the idea!)
These Easter cups are easy to assemble with pom poms, pipe cleaners, and google eyes. The bunny ears are made of felt and the chick feathers are made of little yellow feathers, but you can also use felt for the chick tail. The chick nose and feet are also made of felt. You can use these cups to serve drinks or for little treats.

These bird nests are made just like marshmallow crispy treats. Use Chinese noodles instead of rice crispies and use a muffin cup to mold the nest shapes. Place candy eggs inside after you have molded the nests.

Cute and Easy Easter Cupcakes

When is the best time to make cute and easy Easter cupcakes? At Easter time, of course! Easter is such a fun time! Everyone gets to wear new outfits and new white shoes. The kids are overjoyed at the site of the overstuffed Easter baskets, and the family gets together for a fabulous dinner!
What would Easter be without some adorable cupcakes? I have found some of my favorites and wanted to share them here with my readers. Let me know what you think, okay? Also, you can visit Guiding Your Home for more easy ideas of your Easter cupcakes!
I love these because they look like colored eggs! They are so easy to decorate. I use colored sugar sprinkles and dip the iced cupcakes in the sprinkles twice for best coverage.

These cute little bunnies are dipped in coconut and uses pastel MM's for eyes and nose. The mouth is mini marshmallows and the ears are large sized marshmallows cut in two pieces ans dipped in pink sugar sprinkles. So easy, so cute!
These fluffy little lambs are easier to assemble than you might think!Ice a cupcake, and then place a mini cupcake on top. Ice the mini cake all over and stick mini marshmallow all around. The ears are pink mini marshmallows cut in half and the 4 feet are black jelly beans. Use a mini MM for the nose and the eyes are piped on with icing.

My last idea is another really easy confection made with marshmallow peeps or bunnies. The Easter basket is made from licorice and the grass is green tinted icing. I have also used green tinted coconut (Place coconut in a plastic baggie and add a few drops of green food coloring. Shake, shake, shake!) Of course, the little colored eggs are jelly beans.
