The Joke's On You!

Laughter is good for the soul, so dive in!

Many years ago, a baker's assistant called Richard the Pourer, whose job it was to pour the dough mixture in the making of sausage rolls, noted that he was running low on one of the necessary spices, sent his apprentice to the store to buy more.

Unfortunately, upon arriving at the shop the young man realized that he had forgotten the name of the ingredient. All he could do was to tell the shopkeeper that it was: "For Richard the Pourer, for batter for wurst."

The corner shop baker was a true artist when it came to making birthday cakes. One customer asked him "can you make a birthday cake for my wife, she's an optician?" He agreed and produced a birthday cake in the perfect detail of a winking eye.

His next customer said " can you make a birthday cake for my husband, he's a dentist." He agreed and produced a cake in the shape of an open mouth, including the teeth and tongue.
At that moment another customer began to leave his shop, when the baker asked "can I help you?" The lady turned and said"no, I don't think so,it's my husband birthday today, but he's a gynaecologist".

Cupcakes for Cancer

Today, I wanted to share a really great organization I found the other day. It's called "Cupcakes for Cancer". Who ever knew that a cupcake could have so much purpose and meaning? And the best part? It was started by a 13 year old girl who won a tough battle over cancer a few years ago herself. Now, she want to help other children with the same battle. They have already raised thousands of dollars, and they're wanting "Cupcake angels" in every state!

It's as simple as kid's having a cupcake bake, and raising money for other kids who have cancer. You can find out more at her facebook page or her myspace page. Many different groups are taking part in this...what about you?
